Ben Schenstead A Saskatoon-based classical guitarist and music educator. Ben holds an ARCT Diploma in classical guitar from the Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Music degree (with Great Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan. Earning a a nomination for a Prairie Music Award for his first CD Sunburst, released in 1999. Ben released his second CD Spirit of the Guitar: From Latin-America to Europe in 2010 in which he recorded with Saskatoon-based Prairie Virtuosi Orchestra. He has also been a guest performer twice with the Amati Quartet, a distinguished string ensemble based in Saskatoon who play priceless historical Italian instruments.
Ben Winoski Guitarist and Instructor at Long & McQuade Music, and member of the Ben Winoski Project. Ben has a diverse background in music can be seen playing his style of Latin instrumental guitar music at various venues around Regina. Canadian Guitar Quartet A masterful ensemble of guitarists consisting of Julien Bisaillion, Philip Candelaria, Bruno Roussel and Lois Trépanier. An iconic fixture for classical guitar in Canada, the CGQ has toured extensively in North and South America. They have often been featured on both English and French national CBC networks, on national broadcasts in Chile, Austria and on a “Classical Guitar Alive” world wide web cast from the United States.
